Materials

All of our standard sanitary ware products, unless otherwise stated, are made from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel to European Standard EN 10088-2. This means they are suitable for use in toilets, washrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

stainless welding

The use of plain carbon steel nails, screws and wire wool may discolour the surface, giving the impression that the stainless steel is rusting. Therefore NT Stainless recommend the use of stainless steel screws and fixings with our products.

When installing ensure all debris and swarf is removed.

Stainless steel can be cleaned by using a mild detergent, diluted, then rinsed thoroughly with water. For stubborn marks a cream cleaner or nylon pad, suitable for use on stainless steel, can be used. If the correct grade of stainless steel is used for the application intended, and the product is cleaned regularly, it is likely to maintain its appearance for many years.
